White linen, a pale oak chest and plenty of daylight are all it needs. Each size keeps that organic edge, with measurements taken across the widest and longest points: 180 x 270 cm for a bedroom, 200 x 300 cm under a double or king size bed, 250 x 350 cm and 300 x 400 cm for a large sitting room.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLayered, the Swedish rug house, made this design together with Collina Strada, the fashion label from New York. Hand tufted in 100% wool, it comes from Bhadohi, India, and has carved edges with pile heights ranging from 12 to 17 mm. Underfloor heating is no problem. Because people rather than machines make it, no two rugs match exactly in size or shade. A soft drift of loose wool in the early weeks is quite normal.
