The 75 x 240 cm and 80 x 300 cm runners brighten a hallway.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTom Morris, an interior architect based in London with his practice Morrisstudio, designed Ryg for CLOTH by Layered, taking the pattern from Welsh blankets and the colours from the North Wales coast. Hand woven in 100% wool, it is made in Bhadohi, India, where a pit loom gives it a firm, flat surface of about 6 mm. Underfloor heating is fine. Every piece carries tiny differences in size and shade. The pale ground likes a regular vacuum, without a rotating brush, and quick blotting after any spill.
