Some of the brands in our collection rarely discount. When they do, it is not because something is wrong with the rug. It is because a colourway is leaving the permanent range, a brand is running a time-limited offer, or the last pieces of a specific size are being cleared before they are no longer available. The promotion is circumstantial. The quality is not.

That distinction matters more in the design rug market than in most. A Sanderson wool rug at twenty per cent off is still a Sanderson wool rug: handtufted, from a design archive that spans over a century, in the same construction and material as the full-price version. The reduction changes the number on the label. It does not change what you are buying.

Why These Rugs Are on Promotion

There are three reasons a rug enters our promotional selection. A colourway is being phased out of the permanent range: the rug is unchanged, the colour simply will not be produced again, and the remaining stock is priced to move. These are often the most interesting pieces in the promotion, because the quality is identical to the collection price. A brand runs a temporary reduction across part of its range: we pass that reduction on directly. Or it is the last pieces of a size that will not be restocked. When it is gone, there is no equivalent.

What Is Currently on Promotion

The current selection includes pieces from Sanderson, Morris & Co, Harlequin, Layered, Perletta and other names from our permanent collection. Reductions range from ten to fifty per cent, depending on the reason behind the offer. The range spans everything from mid-priced accessible pieces to investment-level handtufted wool rugs that rarely appear at a reduced price.

How to Approach a Promotional Purchase Well

The question worth asking before any promotional purchase is not how much you are saving but whether you would have considered this piece at full price. If the answer is yes, a reduction is a genuine advantage. If the answer is no, the percentage does not improve the fit. A rug that is the wrong colour, the wrong size or the wrong material for the space is not a better choice because it costs less.

For a living room purchase, measure carefully before ordering, particularly if the piece is marked as a last unit. There will not be an alternative format if the size does not work. For the bedroom, the promotional selection regularly includes wool constructions at reduced prices that represent the strongest value on this page: materials that would otherwise sit outside the budget of many buyers become accessible when a brand offer is running.
