The double border is where to start. A composition this layered — striking blue paisley forms, coral red blooms and ochre rosettes connected by fine flowering vines across a deep, smoky olive ground — could easily overwhelm itself. The double border prevents that, framing the design with the same density and care that governs the field, right down to the narrow striped edge. It is the kind of detail that separates a rug made by someone who understood the whole from one assembled part by part. Shall Olive 90 is the most considered piece in the Shall collection, and it shows.
Knotted from 100% pure wool by Afghan weavers, the weight underfoot has that particular quality — substantial and soft simultaneously — that months at the loom produce and nothing else replicates. The reverse tells the same story as every genuinely hand-knotted piece: tight, even rows of knotwork built up gradually, honestly, without shortcuts. The fringes extend naturally from the warp. Everything checks out.
The smoky olive ground earns its place in rooms with dark wood, brass, leather and deep jewel tones. This is a rug with gravity and a sense of occasion — suited to a dining room that takes itself seriously, a study lined with books, or a drawing room that is not embarrassed by either.

Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
