Collection: Alice Crawley Rugs | Layered

This capsule collection is a collaboration between the Swedish interior brand Layered and British interior designer Alice Crawley. Six rug designs, each handmade from 100% wool, combine Eastern and Western influences in an Anglo Asian style.

Inspired by bamboo forests

The starting point was Crawley's walks through bamboo forests near an old Chinese mansion on Sunset Peak in Hong Kong. Geometric patterns and harmonious colour bring that landscape indoors: muted blues and pinks alongside rusty reds and woody browns, calm yet distinctive.

Designs in the collection

Bamboo Forest translates the bamboo into intricate pattern. Bamboo Stripe combines bold stripes with subtle hues for a striking but balanced look. Indocine draws on traditional motifs with a modern twist. All suit contemporary as well as classic interiors, from the living room to the bedroom.
