Eight colours, two pile depths
Four of the eight are woven at 1.7 cm and four at 4 cm. That is a real difference, not a detail. The 1.7 cm versions behave like a normal rug: you can put a chair on them, vacuum them easily, walk through in shoes. The 4 cm versions are a deep pile you sink into, better suited to a room where comfort matters more than traffic.
Woven in the Netherlands from wool
All eight are woven in the Netherlands in 100% wool. Wool is what lets a plain rug stay interesting: the fibre takes dye unevenly at a microscopic level, so a single colour still has movement in it rather than reading as flat paint. It also springs back under furniture, resists dirt naturally, and keeps its colour rather than fading.
Where a Pop-Art rug works
A living room that has pattern elsewhere, on the walls or the curtains, and needs the floor to be quiet but not beige. A bedroom, where the 4 cm versions come into their own. An office or a study, where a block of colour under a desk does more than a pattern would.
Sizes and how to choose
140 by 200, 160 by 230 and 200 by 300 cm. 140 by 200 cm beside a bed or in a small room. 160 by 230 cm for a standard living room with a three seater. 200 by 300 cm when the rug has to reach under armchairs as well. With a plain rug, going slightly larger is always the safer error.

How do you care for a plain wool rug?
Vacuum regularly with the beater bar off, blot spills with cold water rather than rubbing, and rotate the rug twice a year so wear and light fall evenly. Loose fibre in the first weeks is normal.
Do plain rugs show marks more than patterned ones?
Yes, that is the honest answer, and it is why the colour you choose matters. A mid tone hides more than either a pale or a very dark one.
