Deep taupe, mid beige and pale sand nest inside each other like rooms on an architect's floor plan. Every field of Acsento Delos Beige is edged with a double raised border, so the geometry stands up from the surface and you can follow it with your toes.
Keep the company equally restrained: a bouclé armchair, a travertine side table, plaster walls and pale oak boards. In a Georgian flat or a calm loft conversion, angle a single chair across a corner so the frames slip out from under it. In a sitting room, 200 x 290 cm takes a sofa and two chairs. Bedrooms suit 160 x 230 cm, while 240 x 340 cm covers a bigger room or a table for six.
Tufted by hand in India, Delos has a wool face over a cotton backing and a dense pile about 18 mm deep. Underfloor heating is welcome beneath it. Being handmade, each piece can differ slightly in size and shade. Expect some shedding in the first weeks, as with all new wool, and vacuum with a plain suction head rather than a rotating brush. Dab spills dry with a clean cloth instead of rubbing them.
