Run a hand across Duna Linen and you find the pattern before you see it. Acsento ripples wavy lines over a greige ground the shade of undyed linen, some picked out in a paler thread and others carved into the pile, like wet sand combed by the sea.
Neutral to its core, it settles into almost any scheme and stays put through every new sofa. Picture an Edwardian front room with a bay window, limewashed walls, old oak boards, a linen covered sofa and a stack of stoneware on the mantel. A sofa with two armchairs fits on 200 x 290 cm. The 160 x 230 cm size is right beside a bed, while six diners and their chairs need 240 x 340 cm.
Duna is machine woven in Belgium from soft polyester, with an 11 mm pile and an anti slip latex backing, and it can lie on underfloor heating. Run the vacuum along the lines rather than across them, and deal with spills by blotting with a white cloth, working inwards.
