Acsento Elba White is a quiet rug with a lot going on up close. The ivory ground moves through a soft gradation, lighter in some places and deeper in others, so the surface never looks flat or clinical. It brings light into a room without the starkness of pure white.
It suits a modern dining room, where a 200 x 290 cm under the table keeps every chair on the rug when pulled out. In a living room it pairs well with oak, linen and stone, and gives a pale floor a little more depth.
Elba is handwoven in India from wool, about 1 cm thick with a low pile. That makes Elba easy to place under furniture and comfortable underfoot, and it is suitable for underfloor heating. Vacuum regularly without a rotating brush, and blot spills straight away with a dry cloth.
