On a grey winter morning the sea along the coast can take on exactly this blue. Acsento Laguna Forest sets a cool blue grey ground under drifting flecks of warm bronze and rust, so the rug looks a little like steel that has been left out in the rain, beautifully so.
That play of cool and warm makes it more versatile than you might expect. It has the strength for a warehouse flat with concrete and tall metal framed windows, yet it is just as easy beside a linen sofa with an oak table in front. A blue cushion or a single tan leather chair picks up either side. A three seater with chairs needs 200 x 300 cm, 240 x 340 cm in a big room, 170 x 230 cm in a study.
Made on a Belgian machine loom, Laguna Forest blends acrylic, polyester, viscose and cotton, is only about 4 mm thin and has an anti slip latex back. It works well over underfloor heating. Keep it fresh with frequent light vacuuming, and blot rather than rub when something is spilt.
