Here is a green with real depth. Acsento Laguna Green scatters soft sage and moss over a charcoal ground in a fine, irregular pattern that seems to have grown there rather than been drawn, like lichen spreading over a slate step.
Dark green and charcoal flatter walnut, brass and walls in deep paint colours, and lend a reading corner or a study in a converted loft real character. In a lighter scheme the rug becomes the anchor beneath a pale sofa, with a few houseplants nearby to repeat the green. In a study or bedroom 170 x 230 cm is enough. Where a sofa and armchairs gather, think 200 x 300 cm, and in a larger space the 240 x 340 cm.
Made in Belgium on a machine loom, Laguna is very flat at about 4 mm and combines acrylic, polyester, viscose and cotton over a non slip latex backing. It is compatible with underfloor heating. Darker grounds show fluff and dust, so vacuum frequently, and lift any spill by blotting it dry immediately.
