Pewter with a hint of green is the best way to describe Acsento Moonshadow Green: a cool grey green with an almost silvery sheen, darkest at the borders and lightening towards the middle. Countless fine horizontal lines build that gradient, so it looks less like a pattern and more like a change in the weather.
It is happiest in architecture with clean lines. In a new build with white walls, a low daybed and plenty of glass, it adds the depth a pared back room often lacks. Bring in oak and linen and it turns softer and more natural. Lay 200 x 300 cm under a three seater and chairs, 240 x 340 cm in a wide open plan space, or 170 x 230 cm in a study or bedroom.
Machine woven in Belgium, the yarn blends wool with cotton, polyester and acrylic in an 11 mm pile, finished with a latex back so it stays put. Underfloor heating is fine underneath. Regular vacuuming keeps the sheen bright, and a dry cloth pressed onto a spill straight away does the rest.
