Can grey ever feel soft? Papyrus Silver from Acsento starts with a pale pearly ground and lays row after row of pewter dashes across it. Here they gather, there they fade to a whisper, which keeps the pattern loose and the overall feel cool and quiet.
It sits happily alongside concrete, steel and stone in an industrial style loft, and just as well in a white painted cottage bedroom with pale floorboards. Build texture around it with a chunky wool throw, a linen three seater and a rough glazed vase. Go for 200 x 290 cm in a living room and 240 x 330 cm when a table for six needs to stand on it, while a bedroom calls for 160 x 230 cm.
Papyrus is woven by machine in Belgium in heatset polypropylene. The full 11 mm pile is kind to bare feet, and underfloor heating suits it. Vacuuming every week keeps it looking fresh, and a spill caught early and blotted dry is far easier to deal with.

We offer free delivery anywhere in the European Union on all rug orders. Every rug is carefully packaged and shipped with tracking. Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
