Rounded stones in chestnut and cocoa brown stand out from a calm cream ground, and they really do stand out: the shapes are woven in a deep, silky high pile. Acsento Step Stones is a rug you read with your feet as much as your eyes.
Make it the heart of a lounge corner. It looks right with a curved bouclé sofa, dark wood and natural stone, on a floor in a quiet tone such as limed oak or pale tiles. In a bedroom it makes the first steps of the morning noticeably kinder. A lounge area works with 200 x 290 cm, a bedroom with 160 x 230 cm, and a spacious living room with 240 x 340 cm.
Made on a machine loom in Belgium, Step Stones has a yarn of 90% recycled polyester topped up with 10% polyester, and its pile reaches as high as 25 mm. It can be laid over underfloor heating. High pile likes a light touch: use low suction and a smooth nozzle, and fluff the tufts up with your fingers every so often. Should anything spill, blot it dry immediately.
