Moss green does most of the talking on Decor Pilar Moss, with slim lines of navy and a cool pale grey keeping it company. The stripes run lengthwise, widening and narrowing as they go, and where the three horizontal sections meet, green swaps with grey and grey with green. The effect is a little offbeat, like a tune that skips a beat on purpose. Up close the cut wool is matt and rich, with crisp edges between the colours.
Green is surprisingly easy to live with, much like a houseplant that happens to lie on the floor. In an Edwardian terrace with honey toned floorboards, it pairs well with cognac leather, a dark bookcase and terracotta pots, and a single rust armchair is all the accent it needs. Try 200 x 280 cm to pull a seating area together, or 140 x 200 cm in a study or beside a bed, where it adds depth without weighing the room down.
Indian craftspeople tuft it by hand, and the 17 mm cut pile is all pure new wool, anchored in a cotton and latex backing. It springs back well after footsteps and furniture, and it is suitable for underfloor heating. New wool sheds lightly at first, and the vacuum cleaner gradually takes care of that. Skip the rotating brush, and if something spills, lift it with a clean dry cloth before it soaks in.

You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
