Not a corner in sight. Element Lane Red is made of three rounded, bean shaped forms that overlap like pieces of coloured paper dropped on a table. The largest form is dusty rose, the middle one a mauve brown, and a deep aubergine wraps around one flank. The dense, velvety pile shades softly wherever a hand brushes across it.
A rug like this deserves to be seen, so resist burying it under a big sofa. In a loft conversion with polished concrete or pale oak, let a single armchair or side table stand half on it and leave the curves free. Terracotta pots, warm wood and a coral cushion pick up the rose. It also makes a gentle island beneath a small round dining table. Choose 157 x 200 cm for a corner or bedside, 210 x 270 or 250 x 320 cm when it should hold a whole seating group.
Element Lane is hand tufted in India for Brink & Campman from 100% pure new wool, with a 14 mm cut pile and a cotton and latex backing. Because the shape is organic, sizes are given across its broadest and longest dimensions. Underfloor heating suits it too. Hand tufting means slight variations in size and shade are normal. New wool sheds a little early on. Run the vacuum over it without the rotating brush, and blot any spill with a clean dry cloth, never rubbing.

You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
