Orange is a tricky colour on a floor, yet Loom Pumpkin carries it with ease. The pumpkin and coral tones are threaded through with olive green and cream, which pulls the whole thing towards earth rather than traffic cone. Chunky felted strands of varying length give the deep pile a pebbly face and a pleasantly springy feel when you sink into it.
This is a rug with a soft spot for the seventies. In a lofty mansion block apartment, lay it in front of a teak sideboard, a bentwood chair and a few pieces of amber glass, against walls in warm white. It instantly makes the seating area the place everyone gravitates to. In a bedroom it pairs well with olive or sand linen. Go for 200 x 300 cm under a sofa and armchair, a bedroom takes 160 x 230 cm, and 140 x 200 cm for a reading corner.
Woven by Brink & Campman in the Netherlands on an axminster loom, Pumpkin is spun from felted yarns of 100% pure new wool, with a mixed height pile of around 45 mm on a jute and cotton backing. It may be used over underfloor heating. Wool bounces back well under feet and furniture. Some shedding is natural for a new wool rug and settles within a few weeks of vacuuming. Use a nozzle without a beater brush, and give the pile a shake when it looks flattened.

Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.

Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
