Picture a skein of wool before it ever meets a dye pot. Sober Natural has that warm beige, drifting from oatmeal to cream, flecked with caramel, light brown and the odd darker thread. Its weave is made of plump little knots standing just proud of the surface, and from across the room it reads as one calm, light plane. Up close, every small irregularity reminds you that hands made it.
A pale natural rug is the easiest kind to live with. In a Georgian flat with dark stained boards it lifts the whole room, while on limestone or whitewashed oak it melts quietly into the floor. Bring in cream upholstery, warm timber and one bold accent in a vase or a stack of books. Under a table for six, 250 x 350 cm keeps the chairs on the wool, and the flecks stay forgiving between vacuums.
Woven by hand in Hungary, this pure new wool rug is roughly 12 mm deep and has nothing glued underneath, so an anti slip underlay is a sensible companion on polished or tiled floors. It sits happily on underfloor heating. Wool is naturally resilient and bounces back after use. A little fluff in the vacuum bag during the early weeks is part of the deal with new wool. Avoid a beater bar, and soak up spills promptly with a dry cloth.

Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
