The Florence Broadhurst Waterwave Stripe in Pearl is a quietly spectacular rug. Soft blue and pearl tones flow in gentle horizontal bands, creating a gradation effect that brings movement and lightness to a room without noise. It's a design that feels effortlessly sophisticated.
About Florence Broadhurst
Florence Broadhurst was an Australian designer whose bold, pattern driven work became icons of decorative art in the mid twentieth century. Her signature graphic sensibility translates exceptionally well to the floor, confident and distinctive without being difficult to live with. Materials & Craftsmanship
Handtufted by skilled craftspeople in India from 100% pure wool, this rug has a dense, resilient pile that holds its shape under daily use. Wool is naturally stain resistant and temperature regulating, and the handtufted construction creates a depth of texture that machine made rugs simply can't replicate.
Styling Ideas
The pearl and blue palette suits cool, serene interiors, white painted rooms, pale oak floors, and furniture in natural or pale tones. Works beautifully in living rooms and bedrooms alike. Explore more blue rugs at Tapison.
