Up in an old warehouse turned loft, with brick walls, steel windows and concrete underfoot, it adds instant warmth and a sense of place. The wool is worked by hand on a loom in Bhadohi, India, over a warp of cotton. Ribs of cut and looped pile, approximately 15 mm high, give the texture, and it is suitable for underfloor heating. Vacuum without the beater bar, and treat any spill by blotting it gently with a dry cloth.
