Somewhere between a pebble and a mushroom, the shade of Atoll Grey is a warm grey with a taupe tint that changes mood with the weather outside. The field is plain apart from a few gently curving lines drifting across the width, like ripples behind a swimmer. Two opposite edges carry a fringe.
Taupe grey loves stone and wood. Picture it in an Edwardian front room, slate hearth and stripped boards, laid before a sofa in charcoal wool with a rattan chair and a stack of books close by. Go for 200 x 300 cm when an armchair joins the three seater, or 170 x 240 cm if the room is narrower. Torn between two sizes? The larger one nearly always looks better.
Atoll comes from Massimo Copenhagen, the Danish rug brand, and is tufted by hand in India in 100% natural European wool. It is happy on underfloor heating. Because people make it rather than machines, each rug can vary slightly in size and colour. Expect some loose fibres at first, which is simply new wool settling, and they disappear with steady vacuuming using a plain suction head. Spills should be pressed out gently with a dry towel.

We offer free delivery anywhere in the European Union on all rug orders. Every rug is carefully packaged and shipped with tracking. Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
