Pale sand, light enough to brighten a room and warm enough never to look cold. Earth Bamboo Desert Sand has a short pile with a gentle mottle, and the bamboo silk gives it a sheen like dunes in late sun, shifting as you move across the room.
It belongs in a cottage bedroom with low beams and limewashed walls, under an iron bed with a quilt in faded blue. In a quiet sitting room it lifts dark wood and grounds a pale linen sofa. The 170 x 240 cm size sits well beside a double bed, 200 x 300 cm suits a sofa and armchair, and 250 x 300 cm suits a bigger room where the rug should reach every chair.
Danish brand Massimo Copenhagen has weavers in India make Earth Bamboo by hand, with wool from New Zealand making up one half of the yarn and bamboo silk the other. Underfloor heating poses no problem. Because it is made by hand, a slight variation in dimensions and colour is normal. Keep it well away from water and press spills out immediately with an absorbent dry cloth. A brushless vacuum keeps the pile tidy, and cleaning beyond that is a job for an expert.

Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
