Pale chalk white with a soft grey undertone, Escape Kelim Chalk is about as restrained as a rug can be: no pattern, no pile and no fringes. Instead, a band in a contrasting shade runs along both short ends, and up close the flat weave reveals a fine, lively texture.
This is a kilim for a room built on light and good materials. Lay 250 x 350 cm under a long oak table in a kitchen diner, where chairs glide over the flat weave, or 200 x 300 cm in a Scandinavian style sitting room with linen curtains. The 90 x 250 cm runner brings the same calm to a hallway or along a kitchen island. Also available in 170 x 240 and 300 x 400 cm.
Escape Kelim is a flatweave, made by hand in India for Massimo Copenhagen, a brand from Denmark, in 100% New Zealand wool, undyed so it keeps the natural colour of the fleece. Underfloor heating beneath it is no concern. Handmade work brings slight variations in size and shade. Give it a regular vacuum with the rotating brush disabled, and soak up any spill quickly with a clean towel.

We offer free delivery anywhere in the European Union on all rug orders. Every rug is carefully packaged and shipped with tracking. Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
