A cool stone grey, the shade of a slate roof once the rain has passed. Escape Kelim Stone gets it from undyed wool alone, woven into a plain, flat surface with a fine, crisp grain. A band in a contrasting shade runs across each short end, and with no fringes the outline stays sharp and graphic.
Grey kilims suit pared back rooms, and this one feels particularly at home in a loft conversion with white plaster, black framed windows and a glass topped table. In a Georgian maisonette with tall shuttered windows, it quietens a busy mix of furniture. Choose 200 x 300 cm for a three seater with armchairs, 300 x 400 cm if the whole room should rest on wool, or the 90 x 250 cm runner for the landing.
This rug from the Danish brand is made in India, handwoven as a flatweave from New Zealand wool that is 100% natural and undyed. It lies close to the floor and is suitable for underfloor heating. Because it comes off a hand loom, a centimetre here or a slight shift in tone there is normal. In the first weeks the new wool releases some fluff, so vacuum often, always with the brush bar off. Dab any spill with a clean, dry cloth straight away.

Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
