Claret held up to a candle: that is the red of Karma Wool Burgundy. Darker and lighter clouds run through it, so the faded finish looks rich, never brash, and the colour shifts subtly as you move around the room. Its short pile has a dense spring to it, lovely to stand on in socks.
Burgundy loves soft grey, olive and natural linen. In a Victorian parlour with a cast iron fireplace, set it before a dove grey sofa and a few dark green plants, and it warms the whole space. On polished concrete in a kitchen extension, it takes the chill off. For a bedroom, 170 x 240 cm adds a cocooning note, and 200 x 300 cm suits a sofa with two armchairs.
Massimo Copenhagen has it made on a handloom in India, in 100% wool, and it can lie on underfloor heating. Each piece differs a touch in size and depth of colour, as handwork does. Fresh wool lets go of some fibres early on, which settles with frequent vacuuming using a plain nozzle. Should wine meet wool, blot it up at once with a dry cloth rather than rubbing it in. The largest size is 250 x 350 cm.

We offer free delivery anywhere in the European Union on all rug orders. Every rug is carefully packaged and shipped with tracking. Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
