Where do your feet land first in the morning? With Rya Cream, it is on long, buoyant strands of creamy white wool, thick enough to sink into. The colour is plain and clean, which leaves the shaggy texture to do the talking, while shadows gather in the gaps between strands.
Put it where your feet meet the floor, beside or below the bed, in a loft conversion under the eaves, with pale boards, linen bedding, a rattan chair and a jug of dried grasses. A reading chair by the window or a calm sitting room with pale sofas suits it just as well. The 140 x 200 cm size suits one side of a bed, 170 x 240 cm sits well under a double, and 200 x 300 cm covers a living room seating area.
Rya Cream is woven by hand in India from 100% New Zealand wool, following the Scandinavian rya, a long tradition of shaggy rugs. It is fine on underfloor heating. Expect slight differences in size and colour tone, a sign of handwork. Shake it out or vacuum it gently, low setting, brush off. Expect some loose fibres in the first weeks. Blot any spill quickly with a dry cloth.

We offer free delivery anywhere in the European Union on all rug orders. Every rug is carefully packaged and shipped with tracking. Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
