A dark aubergine grey ground, and across it a run of ochre yellow shapes and meandering lines, like a fragment torn from an old map. In Structures Fragment 1 the ochre glows like late sun on a brick wall. Where it runs, bamboo silk gives a soft shine, and the surrounding wool stays matt and velvety.
Its dark ground gives weight to a room, so it shines in a study, a snug in a Victorian terrace, or a sitting room with walls in olive or plum. Bring in a cognac leather armchair, brass and walnut, and the ochre will echo the wood. Bamboo silk prefers a quieter life, so keep it away from the dining room and hallway. A snug is well served by 170 x 240 cm, and a sofa with a pair of armchairs by 200 x 300 cm.
Fragment 1 is hand tufted in India, half New Zealand wool and half bamboo silk, with a low pile. Underfloor heating is no obstacle. Hand tufting leaves its trace in minor shifts of size and shade. Water is unwelcome: press a cloth onto spills immediately, and let a professional do any thorough cleaning. Vacuum regularly without a rotating brush, and expect a little fluff from the wool at first.

We offer free delivery anywhere in the European Union on all rug orders. Every rug is carefully packaged and shipped with tracking. Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
