Rows of big artichoke flowers in lavender blue climb out of dense acanthus foliage in sea green and sage, with small ivory fritillaries tucked in between. Morris & Co Helena Mineral is cool and fresh, like a border after a summer shower, and a leafy border holds it all together like a frame round a painting.
Set beneath a dining table close to the glass, it pulls the garden indoors. Honey coloured wood, natural linen and white painted panelling flatter it, which makes it a lovely choice for an Edwardian dining room or a kitchen extension looking out onto the lawn. Take 250 x 350 cm for a table for six with room to pull the chairs out, or 200 x 300 cm in front of the fire.
Helena is a hand knotted rug from Nepal: pure new wool, a cotton foundation and a 12 mm pile. Being low and close, the pile lets dining chairs slide back without catching, and underfloor heating will not bother it. Every knotted piece is individual, so a little variation in measurements and colour is to be expected. Vacuum softly, working with the lie of the pile, and catch spills at once with a white cloth.

We offer free delivery anywhere in the European Union on all rug orders. Every rug is carefully packaged and shipped with tracking. Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
