Lent lily is the old English name for the wild daffodil, and tiny ones in coral and peach are scattered all over this rug. Morris & Co Lent Lily Indigo Madder sets them on midnight indigo among tall pointed tulips in madder red and great acanthus leaves in sage and olive, all drawn with the loose movement of a watercolour brush.
The scale is grand, so the design reads from across the room. In front of a stone fireplace in a beamed cottage, or beside a grey linen sofa in a Victorian sitting room, it becomes the focal point the room has been waiting for. Dark wood, green glazed pottery and a lamp with a red shade echo the flowers. A 200 x 280 cm rug suits a sitting room, or go for 250 x 350 cm when the room can take it.
Indigo Madder is a hand tufted rug from India with 17 mm of pure new wool on cotton and latex. Each outline is hand carved, so the leaves stand out in relief. It can lie over underfloor heating. New wool lets go of a little fluff to begin with, so vacuum often for the first weeks without a rotating brush, and blot spills using a dry cloth.

Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
Returns
You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
