Warm cream is the ground, and on it a whole spring garden. Plum and raspberry tulips unfurl among wide acanthus in slate blue and bay green, while small pink wild daffodils fill every gap. Morris & Co Lent Lily Plum Bayleaf has the look of a page torn from a botanical sketchbook.
The relaxed, sketchy drawing keeps it from feeling formal, and the pale ground keeps a room bright. It suits a sunny sitting room in a Georgian townhouse with white woodwork and a sofa in oatmeal or soft grey, or a bedroom with painted floorboards. In a bedroom 170 x 240 cm feels right, and around a three seater with armchairs, 200 x 280 cm. A jug of real tulips in April finishes the picture.
Plum Bayleaf is a hand tufted rug from India in pure new wool, 17 mm deep, with cotton and latex on the back. Underfloor heating poses no difficulty. Early fluff is normal for new wool and fades with regular vacuuming on a low setting. Should tea go over, press kitchen paper onto it quickly. Handmade rugs vary slightly in size and shade.

Delivery times vary by stock location and are shown on each product page. Rugs in stock at our showroom ship within 3 working days; items coming from external warehouses or production require additional processing time.
For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country’s regulations.

You have 30 days to return your rug from our standard collection, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
