Think of a ripe damson, then add a few sparks of copper. Torino 063.0078.1214 from Tapison Home has a deep plum ground scattered with warm copper and rose, so from the sofa it reads as one rich colour and only comes alive as you walk across it.
In a Victorian terrace with a dark painted sitting room, it looks at home on stripped floorboards beside a velvet armchair and a brass lamp. For a three seater with two chairs, 200 x 290 cm lets the front legs of everything rest on the rug, while 160 x 230 cm suits a bedroom. The rounds from Ø 120 to Ø 240 cm sit well under a dining table, and the pebble shape softens a room full of straight lines.
From the Tapison Home collection, Torino is machine woven from polyester with a dense 11 mm pile and a gentle sheen. It is suitable for underfloor heating, keeps its colour and recovers well under furniture. Vacuum regularly, blot spills at once with a damp cloth without rubbing, and rotate it every few months for even wear.
