Got a north facing room or a lot of dark furniture? Here is a sage green that lifts a space instead of pressing on it. Close to, the green breaks into aqua, soft mustard and darker olive, woven together into a lively, almost painterly surface, and the sand toned binding around it keeps things airy.
Try Torino 063.0078.4240 in a beamed cottage bedroom under whitewashed walls, where it brings a calm early morning feel, or in a kitchen diner alongside pale oak, a linen bench cushion and cream and ochre ceramics. Ø 120 cm fits beneath a small breakfast table, Ø 200 cm under a larger round one, and 160 x 230 cm reaches comfortably either side of a double bed.
Machine woven in polyester for Tapison Home, the rug has a soft 11 mm pile and copes well with underfloor heating. Sunlight will not bleach it in a hurry. Vacuum it often in a busy kitchen, catch spills promptly by dabbing with a damp cloth, and swing it round every few months to share out the footfall.
